(LEX 18) — Veteran Jockey, Javier Castellano has tested positive for COVID-19. Castellano confirmed the results on Twitter.
Castellano says he and his family were in New York last week. He was scheduled to race Saturday at Gulfstream Park in Florida. He went down early for a physical and was tested for the virus, which came back positive.
Castellano said he is asymptomatic and feels fine and healthy. He says he will follow the doctors orders and self-quarantine for the next two weeks.
