ROWAN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A 29-year-old female was killed after being hit by a semi on I-64 early Monday morning just before the Morehead exit, according to the Rowan County Coroner.
Due to the incident, traffic on the interstate was shut down for a short time for police to investigate the scene.
The death remains under investigation by the Kentucky State Police.
