LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — One person was injured early Wednesday morning in fall at a quarry on Lexington's northwest side.
Police have released limited details but said the injury occurred about 2 a.m. at Vulcan Materials Co., 1280 Manchester Street, near the popular Distillery District entertainment area.
It was not clear how the person gained access to the property or why they were there.
Fire officials tell LEX 18 that the person was transported to an area hospital.
The extent of person's injuries were not immediately disclosed.
