BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Boyle County arrested two women who are accused of stealing guinea pigs from a pet store.

Authorities said Isabelle Mason and Jaimee Pack entered the store, crabbed two guinea pigs and fled.

The store clerk reportedly tried to stop the women from leaving the parking lot while demanding the return of the guinea pigs.

That's when, police say, one of the women threw one of the guinea pigs out of the window.

The women the drove away, allegedly running over the clerk's foot.

The clerk and thrown guinea pig were expected to be OK, officials said.

One guinea pig remains missing.

Mason and Pack were charged with multiple counts, including cruelty to animals.
