LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two people were sent to area hospitals Wednesday morning after a crash on Lexington's far west side.
Officials said one vehicle side-swiped the other along Parkers Mill Road and Man O War Boulevard.
Police said the driver of the silver sedan was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Both drivers were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The wreck shut down Parkers Mill Road for more than an hour as crews cleaned up the mess.
