LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — President Donald Trump’s press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, will be in Lexington on Saturday night to speak at the 2018 Lincoln Diner.
The event is a gathering of top Kentucky Republicans and one of the biggest fundraisers for the Kentucky GOP.
Among those expected to attend are Gov. Matt Bevin, U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell and 6th District Congressman Rep. Andy Barr, who is facing a tough election battle against Democratic challenger Amy McGrath.
The Lincoln Dinner will be held at 6 p.m. downtown at the Hilton Hotel.
The Bluegrass Activist Alliance is planning a protest from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at nearby Triangle Park.
