(GoBankingRates) One of Kentucky’s most majestic natural wonders is getting national recognition. Cumberland Falls has been named one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the U.S.
Personal finance website GoBankingRates.com included Cumberland Falls State Resort Park on its list. The 68-feet high falls are described as the “Niagara of the South,” and create a moonbow in the moonlight. It’s a colorful phenomenon unlike anything else in the western hemisphere.
They note that entry is free, and you can stay on site for less than $100 a night.
