KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A driver and passenger are both facing charges following a late-night police chase.

It began Tuesday night at about 10 p.m. on southbound Kentucky 11.
Kentucky State Police say a Knox County deputy found a possible stolen pickup truck.
The driver reportedly ignored the deputy’s emergency lights and continued driving, eventually making it onto northbound Kentucky 225. That’s when the driver hit a deputy head on.
The deputy fired his gun at the truck and the driver took off. There was a scuffle before the driver was finally caught.
Two officials were treated for minor injuries, and the driver was taken to a local hospital.
