JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police are investigating after a man was shot dead in Johnson County.
Authorities said troopers were called out Monday night about 7:50 p.m. to an area along Kentucky Highway 1092.
Official say responding officers found 58-year-old Mike Jones of Flatgap dead at the scene “possibly due to a gunshot.”
Police remained at the scene and were said to seeking a search warrant in the case.
