LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18)– John Asher’s family has announced the plans for his memorial services.
Asher was the Vice President of Racing Communications for Churchill Downs.
He died Monday of an apparent heart attack while on vacation with his family in Orlando.
His visitation is scheduled for next Tuesday at Churchill Downs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
His funeral is set for next Wednesday at the Cathedral of the Assumption in downtown Louisville at 2 p.m.
Asher’s family has teamed up with Western Kentucky University to establish the John Asher Memorial Scholarship Fund.
