LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3)– Authorities have busted a moonshine operation in a tow truck company building in Louisville.

The business looks like it’s all closed up with black sheets covering the windows, but Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) officers say this operation was anything but dead.

Inside they found moonshine in all different stages of production.

Some was finished and ready to go, while some was still being made.

The owner of the building, Sherman Lloyd Owen, has been charged.

His business is registered out of Shepherdsville, called “Artisan Resources.”

Their website says they advise the small distilling industry, and that they’ve helped more than 50 distilleries become operational.
