WILDER, Ky. (WLWT)– A car plowed into a Northern Kentucky gas station Friday injuring two people.

WLWT is reporting that it happened just after 7:30 a.m. at the Thornton’s Gas Station on Town Drive.

Police say a 54-year-old woman accidentally accelerated when she tried to put her car in park. Her vehicle traveled through the parking lot and into the front of the store, investigators said.

Once crashing through, officials said the car struck two vendors inside.

Both vendors were taken to the hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, officials said.

No charges will be filed against the driver, police said.
