GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) — Several lanes of Interstate Highway 75 were blocked Saturday afternoon after a truck pulling a horse trailer jackknifed, injuring one horse.
Authorities say the crash happened after noontime near mile marker 129.
Major backups were seen as crews worked to remove the injured horse.
A crew from Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital was on the way.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
Deputies said the wet road conditions were likely the cause of the crash.
