HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Madisonville say tips from the public led to the arrest of a second suspect wanted in Hopkins County.

Madisonville Police say Cameron Earl Clark was taken into custody just after 11 p.m. Saturday.

Police earlier said they were investigating a burglary early Saturday morning at Truck Country Auto Sales in Madisonville.

Police say keys were taken from the office and at least one car also was missing.

An officer on patrol later spotted the car and tried to stop it, but the driver sped away. A chase ensued, and the car crashed in a cornfield.

The driver — identified as Clark — fled into the woods.

Police are offering a cash reward for information leading to Clark’s arrest.

Authorities did arrest the passenger in the crashed car, 38-year-old Eric Nathan Harris.

Harris is charged with fleeing police and receiving stolen property.
