LAUREL COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18)– A man was flown to UK after a crash on Rooks Branch Road Monday.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said that the crash happened around 6:40 a.m.
Deputies say that apparently the motorcycle traveling northbound on Rooks Branch Road collided with a Saturn Ion.
The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 36-year-old Richard Cox, of Keavy. He was airlifted to UK with serious injuries.
The driver of the Saturn Ion was identified as 28-year-old Jesse Curry, of Corbin. He was not injured.
