PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two people were injured Tuesday morning in a three-car crash at the intersection of North Highway 27 and Highway 70.

At approximately 7:51 a.m., the sheriff’s office received a call about the multi-vehicle crash.

Deputies say that their preliminary investigation shows that 36-year-old Brandy N. Corder, of Pine Knot, was northbound on Highway 27 in a Chevrolet when she was hit by  50-year-old Stephanie M. Cox, of Eubank. Cox was travelling westbound on Highway 70 in a Honda when she apparently failed to see the Chevrolet, according to the sheriff’s department. The impact of the crash forced the Chevrolet into a Dodge pickup truck that was stationary in the turn lane of Highway 27. The pickup was driven by 41-year-old Roger D. Price, of Somerset.

Conder was airlifted to UK. Cox was transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Price did not sustain injuries.
