PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man accused of stabbing his father over Labor Day weekend in Pike County has been indicted.
The alleged stabbing happened Sunday night in Elkhorn City.
Police say 31-year-old Jonathan Belcher allegedly got into a fight with his father, Jerry Belcher, stabbing him multiple times.
Jerry was taken to the hospital.
Jonathan will be back in court Sept. 13, in the meantime he is being lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.
He’s charged with first-degree assault.
