(LEX 18) — Country music star Eddie Montgomery is taking to twitter today to mark the one-year anniversary of his former bandmate’s untimely death.
Been dreading this day coming but then I get to thinking T-Roy wouldn’t have wanted that he would want us to be smiling Hugh and thinking the next prank to pull on who.. I guess I’m just selfish cause I miss him everyday !! T-Roy we miss u and love u !!!

Troy Gentry, the other half of the top-selling Kentucky-based duo Montgomery Gentry, died last year after the helicopter he was in crashed in New Jersey.
