FLEMING COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Officials are investigating the cause of a deadly crash at the Fleming/Mason county line.
It happened Sunday on KY 11.
Kentucky State Police say 21-year-old Armando Fonseca was driving southbound when he lost control and veered into the northbound lane. He then hit an oncoming vehicle driven by Velvet Reed.
Fonseca was pronounced dead at the scene. Reed and her passenger, Eugene Gallagher, were taken to UK Hospital.
Officials say their injuries are not life-threatening.
