LEXINGTON, Ky (LEX 18)– A cat died in a fire on Darenia Lane Monday, according to the Battalion Chief.
The Battalion Chief said that most of the fire was contained to the kitchen, and the damage is significant. It happened around 7:30 p.m.
There was one person at the home when the fire happened. She was evacuated from the home safely.
A fire investigator is on the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
