FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX 18)– Motorists should be aware of a lane closure Tuesday on Interstate 64 in Franklin County.
KYTC maintenance staff will be cleaning bridge drains and shoulders on I-64 East across the bridge over the Kentucky River (mile point 55.4).
The left lane of I-64 East will be closed between mile points 55 and 56. This work is scheduled from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m.
Motorists should slow down approaching this work zone and watch for highway staff adjacent to the open driving lane.
