LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Hurricane Florence hasn’t made landfall along the east coast yet, but flights in and out of the Bluegrass are limited, if not cancelled.
The flight from Lexington to Myrtle Beach on Allegiant airlines was cancelled more than 48 hours ago but there was still a frustrated customer Thursday morning.
A man showed up for his flight to Myrtle Beach to catch his connection to JFK in New York where he planned to board his international flight to Paris.
He said he had no idea about the cancellation before arriving, but Allegiant claims they sent emails to all passengers 48 hours before the flight.
According to their Twitter and Facebook posts, all flights in and out of the Myrtle Beach airport have been cancelled until Hurricane Florence hits the coastline and airlines re-evaluate.
