LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– The 1994 homicide of a UK football player will be featured on the Oxygen network.
Trent Diguiro’s death was called an “an utter mystery” before classmate Shane Ragland was arrested for his murder.
Ragland admitted to shooting and killing Digiuro at a house party.
Ragland was convicted of murder in 2002, but that verdict was overturned in 2006.
In 2007, Ragland pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter and was sentenced to time served in prison plus three days of home incarceration.
The case will be featured this Sunday on Oxygen’s new series “Dying to Belong”. It will air at 7 p.m
