GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) – Georgetown Police and Scott County Sheriff’s Deputies quickly captured a robbery suspect minutes after they say he robbed the Cash Express on Paris Pike.
Police say Jesse Franklin brandished a gun in the check cashing store and then ran away. He didn’t make it very far.
Franklin was captured a quarter mile away on Bourbon Street. He was taken into custody. He’ll be booked into the Scott County Detention Center.
