MAYFIELD, Ky (WPSD)– A Western Kentucky girl is in the hospital in critical condition after being hit by a pickup truck while riding her bike.
WPSD reports that it happened Monday night in Mayfield. State Police say that foul play is not suspected and no charges have been filed.
9-year-old Alivia Shoemaker’s mother tells WPSD that her daughter has brain swelling, which doctors at Vanderbilt University Medical Center are treating and monitoring.
