ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Estill County Schools were placed on a lockdown after they received a non-specific threat.
The threat was called in to dispatch at 1:21 and made a threat concerning a school shooting.
The board of education locked down all county schools, despite no specific school being named in the threat. The lockdown was a precaution. All schools have been checked and everyone is safe.
All schools will dismiss at their regular time.
