Man Cited After Crash Involving School Bus

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– One man has been cited for reckless driving and more after a crash involving a school bus that happened Monday.

The crash happened around 3:40 p.m. Deputies say that a GMC pickup truck collided head-on with a school bus.

Deputies learned that there were twenty students and a driver on the bus. Fifteen of the children and the driver received non-life-threatening injuries during the crash and were transported to the Barbourville ARH.

19-year-old Ethan T. Mills, of Scalf, and a passenger in his truck were both injured and transported to Barbourville ARH. The passenger was later transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with a major leg injury.

Mills has been cited for reckless driving, no/expired registration plates, no/expired registration receipt, and no insurance.
