BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– New details are being released about a deadly crash in Boyd County.
It happened Tuesday afternoon on US 60 in Ashland.
Officials say Timothy Stapleton, of Ashland, was heading east when he disregarded a traffic light and hit the passenger side of a suburban.
He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
A woman and a teenage girl in the suburban were taken to the hospital. We’re told their injuries are not life-threatening.
Officials say Stapleton was not wearing a seatbelt.
