(LEX 18) – Heavy rains have closed roads across the eastern and southeastern parts of the state.

We are hearing reports about water covering several roads.

Route 321 in Floyd County has 4 to 6 inches of running water over the road and is impassable. Remember, do not try to cross flood waters. Turn around, don’t drown.

A mudslide also shut down Calhoune Drive near Prestonsburg.

Bell County Emergency Management posted on their Facebook page that Highway 217 and Page Cutoff Road both have water across them.
