LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police are investigating a robbery that happened at a Lexington pharmacy.
Just after 9:30 a.m. Friday police got an alarm call from the Rite Aid on Loudon Avenue, and then shortly after a 911 call about a robbery in progress.
Police say a black male with short dreads and goatee entered the store. He asked for cigarettes and as the clerk turned to get them, the man pulled out a knife and demanded cash.
Officers say the man arrived at the store on a bike, but fled on foot. He was wearing a black hoodie, a white T-shirt, and acid wash jeans
No one was injured.
