CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The westbound lanes of Interstate 64 are back open Tuesday morning after a deadly crash.
The crash happened Monday night just before 10 p.m. near the 104 mile marker.
The sheriff tells us a woman was driving when she lost control and went into the median.
The car flipped, she was thrown from the vehicle, then hit by another car.
The coroner pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
She has been identified as 35-year-old Angela McKinney, of Lexington.
Police say speed is believed to be a factor.
