MARTIN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A couple members of President Donald Trump’s family were in Kentucky over the weekend.

Donald Trump Jr. posted to his personal Instagram Sunday morning saying he and his son, Donald Trump III, were learning about falconry, the art of training hawks to hunt in cooperation with a person.

Trump Jr. captions the photo gallery with: “Learning some old school outdoor skills with Donnie in KY this weekend. Falconry with this beautiful Harris Hawk. Very cool to see these amazing birds in action catching their dinner.”

Teaching Donnie about nature today in Kentucky. This is a Praying Mantis egg sack. A few hundred of them will hatch from this and they do a great job of eating a lot of it her less desirable insects. No manti (or whatever multiple are called) were hurt for the photo so no need for outrage. #nature #learning #insect #insects
