SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A sentence was handed down Monday for a man allegedly connected to the death of a teen.
29-year-old Michael Davidson was sentenced to 20 years in prison on one count of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and also a charge of being a persistent felony offender.
Davidson allegedly shot into a mobile home in Stamping Ground on Aug. 27, 2016 and killed 15-year-old Morgan Penn. She was attending a sleepover at the residence.
He is still awaiting a trial on murder charges in connection with the death of Penn.
