(LEX 18)– A Fleming County woman secured her spot on Jennifer Hudson’s team Tuesday night on NBC’s ‘The Voice’.
20-year-old Makenzie Thomas, of Wallingford, sang “Big White Room” by Jessie J.
Thomas tried out for the show last season but did not make the team.
She took the coaches advice seriously and it clearly helped.
She said she was often bullied for her physical appearance. Thomas hopes to use music to spread a positive and encouraging message to the younger generation.
