KENTON COUNTY, Ky. (WLWT)– A former mayor of a Northern Kentucky city is accused of using public tax dollars for personal use.

36-year old Donald Jobe turned himself into Kenton County Police on Sunday.

Jobe, the former mayor of Bromley, faces multiple charges, including theft, abuse of public trust, and fraudulent use of a credit card.

According to court documents, Jobe made multiple purchases for city use, including $1,500 from home depot for boarded up houses.

However, documents state those materials matched up to supplies Jobe used to build a wraparound porch on his home.
