BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– There was a special tribute Monday for a little boy who lost his fight with cancer.

While people gathered for a funeral to remember 10-year-old Bradlee Aguilar-Moreno, of Perryville, a group of monster truckers from miles away sat front and center.

“He’s smiling up in heaven right now. You know he’s probably up there ‘look who’s coming to my funeral!’ He’s smiling ear to ear.”

Bradlee recently lost his battle with brain cancer, but not without one last joy ride of a lifetime.

“When we pulled up to his house the first time, he was screaming so loud, I could hear him over the engine of this truck,” said Thomas Borders, a monster truck driver.

Back in January, his parents reached out to several monster truckers across the Midwest and one bad hombre, monkey business, and high roller answered the call.

“They’re amazing, they’re great. I mean they saw a little boy that had a dream of riding in a monster truck and they made that dream come true.”

The family says the experience made saying ‘goodbye’ to Bradlee hurt just a little less.

“It was very special. To him, it was, it meant everything.”
