SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– It’s National Coffee with a Cop Day, and a McDonald’s in Georgetown is partnering with the local police department to support a wounded deputy.
Today is National Coffee with a Cop Day, but a Georgetown McDonald’s is taking the initiative a step further. All proceeds from the coffee sales will go to Deputy Jamie Morales! 👮🏼♀️☕️👮🏾♂️ @LEX18News pic.twitter.com/XKcXpvAsPU

This will be from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the McDonald’s on Connector Road.
The event is a chance for people to have coffee and conversation with local law enforcement, where they can ask questions and voice concerns.
All proceeds from coffee sales will go towards helping Deputy Jaime Morales, who was left paralyzed after being shot on the job.
Here are a few other locations CWAC is taking place:
If you have a chance stop in at any of the McDonald's in Nicholasville and enjoy a cup of coffee with some of our local police officers. Today from 8a to 9a. Kg
