LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A Kentucky state representative said that after 33 days in a coma, his son has started responding to commands.

On August 30, State Representative Chris Harris’s 19-year-old son, Corbin, fell from his apartment balcony in Lexington. It happened on South Broadway.

On October 2, the representative posted on Facebook, “I’ve had some really great days in my life, but none any better than today, October 2, 2018”.

Harris goes on to say that his son is responding to commands. “While he still has a very long and uncertain road ahead, today marks the clearing of a huge hurdle in that he is able to process a command and act on it.”
