HART COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A Lexington man has been killed in a Hart County crash.
It happened Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 65 north near the 67 mile marker.
It’s reported that 42-year-old Jennings Copley was driving a Chevy Malibu, and went over to the right shoulder and hit the guardrail, then crashed into a semi driven by 27-year-old Kevin Hockman.
Copley’s passenger, 41-year-old Hiram Ives was pronounced dead at the scene.
Copley was taken to UofL Hospital for serious injuries.
