FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A fast-food worker in Frankfort is the latest person to be diagnosed with hepatitis A.
Officials with the Franklin County Health Department say an employee, who handles food, at the Hardee’s on US 127 is infected with the virus.
An investigation found that the risk of restaurant patrons becoming ill is very low.
The restaurant shut down Thursday as a precaution, so they could clean and sanitize the facility.
