LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– The gates at Keeneland are now open for the fall racing season.
There was a crowd at Keeneland bright and early. For many, the start of the fall meet is a tradition.
There was tailgating, games of cornhole, and of course, people checking their programs to pick out some winners.
“I’ve got the program for the first race, just kind of analyzing a few horses and checking out some jockeys. I’ve got a hunch on one or two horses I like,” said Keith Walker., who was excited for the fall meet.
There’s a lot of money to win this season and there’s some big competition.
