NELSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Tennessee truck driver involved in a deadly crash on the Bluegrass Parkway back in 2017 has been indicted on three counts of reckless homicide and one count of wanton endangerment.

41-year-old Richie Warren was driving a semi in May of 2017 when officials say his tractor-trailer crossed the median and drove over top of a vehicle.

Three people were killed in that crash. Back in August, Warren and his employer were ordered to pay judgments for the victims.

The indictment filed in Nelson County Circuit Court, states Warren is accused of recklessly handling his vehicle, causing the deaths of three people and seriously injuring a fourth.

Warren is scheduled to be back in court on Oct. 18 .
