Former Anderson County Bookkeeper Sentenced For Embezzling

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A former Anderson County High School bookkeeper indicted for embezzling more than $12,000 from the school has now been sentenced.

The Anderson News reports that Kristi McIntosh has been sentenced to a five-year deferred sentence after pleading guilty.

McIntosh was fired from her position at the school last year.

She was indicted on one count of theft.

The paper reports McIntosh served as the school’s bookkeeper for seven years before she was suspended and fired.
