FLORENCE, Ky. (LEX 18) — Authorities say a Richmond man was killed when the pickup truck he was driving slammed into the back of a semi trailer.
Florence Police Department officials say 39-year-old Phillip Todd Becraft was crash around midnight Saturday on Interstate Highway 75 at mile marker 180.
Police say Becraft crashed into the back of the trailer and became lodged, causing both vehicles to come to a stop.
Becraft was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
The cause of the crash was not disclosed, and police are asking anyone who witnessed the accident to call the Florence Police Department.
