MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A house was heavily damaged early Wednesday morning after a fire broke out.
It started around midnight on Highway 421 just north of the Big Hill store.
According to a post from the Red Lick Volunteer Fire Department, crews had to use bolt cutters to get through a gate to be able to get the truck near enough to the house to start to fight the fire.
Everyone was out of the house, so no one was injured.
They finally got the fire put out around 3:30 a.m.
