(LEX 18) — Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin remains among the least well-liked state chief executives in the nation, according to a new ranking.

The report by technology survey firm Morning Consult released Wednesday ranks the top leaders of all 50 states.

Bevin’s leadership was ranked among the nation’s worst in the report, coming in at No. 46.

The first-term Republican ranked No. 5 on the disapproval ratings, 55 percent disapproving of the job he is doing.

The report found that 30 percent say they approve of the governor.

Morning Consult says Bevin’s popularity has not appreciably recovered after taking a 25-point plunge this summer in the wake of the teacher protests inspired by his moves on pensions and budgets.
