GARRARD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A police chief and his K-9 officer are doing much better following a car accident over the weekend.

Police Chief Tevis Graham is back to work Monday after he and K-9 Ranger were injured when a suspected impaired driver slammed into their vehicle.

Aside from a little limp, Ranger is OK. The police department confirms he will be going to the vet later in the afternoon.

The suspect, however, remains hospitalized.

According to UK Hospital, Timothy Price was transferred to there from a local hospital.

There is no word on whether he will be facing charges, or the extent of his injuries.
