LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A woman was arrested Friday after officials say she left a used syringe out around her child.
28-year-old Jessica Nicole Riley, of Lily, was arrested around 4:30 p.m. off Echo Valley Road.
According to the sheriff’s department, a deputy was conducting an investigation and found that Riley had left a used syringe under the bathroom sink where her 4-year-old daughter had access.
Riley is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a minor.
The child was placed with other family by social services.
