FORT CAMPBELL, KY. (LEX 18)– The Fort Campbell soldier killed over the weekend has been identified.
It happened in an off-duty incident at on-post housing Sunday night at about 10 p.m.
Officials identified the soldier as Sergeant Brittney Silvers of Jacksonville, Fla.
The Leaf-Chronicle newspaper reports that her spouse is in custody.
The army and the FBI are investigating the incident.
