LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man charged in a deadly hit-and-run pleaded not guilty in court Thursday.
The crash happened last Friday morning on Leestown Road at Greendale Road. Police said someone found 21-year-old Nina Okawachi in the intersection.
She later died at the hospital.
27-year-old Elliott Moton turned himself into police. He faces a charge of leaving the scene of an accident.
He is scheduled to be back in court November 7 for a preliminary hearing.
